When Billington Foods decided to launch a new range of tasty pies under ‘The Love Range’ brand, there was only one design agency they knew could bring flavour to the filling! The launch of ‘Love Pies!’ took Billington Foods from being a key supplier in the hospitality market into the world of consumer brands, with these products set to be in supermarkets across the UK.
Understanding the Love Pies! brand ethos and their product offering was key to creating the perfect branding. Positioned in the market as restaurant quality, hand-crafted, rustic pies, the brand and packaging design was built on foundations of slate backgrounds and chalky textures inspired by gastro-style aesthetics.
Between experimenting with colour navigation for different proteins, we were busy producing mouth-watering images of these pies to feature on the Love Pies! packaging. Keeping ‘The Love Range’ style of imagery in mind, we gave Love Pies! an extra serving of irresistible-ness, by not just showcasing the pies but also some perfectly picked ingredients alongside them.
Our unique end-to-end offering meant that we seamlessly rolled out the branding across the Love Pies! range, managing the project from design to artwork, prototyping to print, and everything in between.
