Casillero del Diablo, a brand born out of company legend, translates roughly to “the devil’s cellar”. The story goes that these exquisite wines often went missing from the cellar, and to scare off thieves the founder started a rumour that the devil lived down there.
Concha y Toro UK wanted to capture this rich history and ignite the imagination of online shoppers through a collection of appetizing lifestyle images. Each one tells a story of the wines’ premium quality through perfectly paired foods and tasting notes.
We styled each wine alongside an array of carefully chosen props, from textured backdrops to wooden boards, vintage books to foliage. Each time we aimed to highlight not only the flavours and style of the wine, but also the enchantment that surrounds them. Resulting in a collection of images that embodies the essence of Casillero del Diablo and pays homage to the legend that inspired it all.
